a dusty old book

A dusty old book in the corner of your bookshelf
Waiting for you to get lost in the words
Once again

The dust are thickening
As the pages looks yellowing
And the inks have been slowly fading

But the tales inside comes within
The alphabets diffused beneath your skin
Phrase, verbs, adjectives
The truth and lies
Flowing through your veins

A good one book you read
You once loved and admired

I am a dusty old book
In the corner of your bookshelf
Waiting for you to get lost
In my words, once again
